SAIC is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SSC/SZ) portfolio. In this role, you won't just be managing tasks--your primary mission will be high-level oversight and sharing technical subject matter expertise, ensuring execution across critical Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power Portfolios. Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Production and Manufacturing efforts, including Production/Manufacturing Reviews and Readiness Assessments; provide systems engineering support to the Chief Engineer (CHENG) and CHENG activities;
  • Oversee development contractor production, integration, and manufacturing activities;
  • Support system integration of multiple efforts, and support overall System of Systems deployment into Operation;
  • Perform Systems Engineering Analyses and Assessments; to include Configuration Control Board support, Design variance approval, Technical Risk Assessments;
  • Make Program-Level Risks Assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the Chief Engineer and Program Manager.
  • Independently collaborate with Government Program Office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel.
