About The Position

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The Systems Engineer should have experience as a Scrum Coach, including Scrum certification. This role involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The engineer will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communication with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives is expected. The position requires responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with specific process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.
  • OR A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
  • OR A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Or A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Scrum Coach-Scrum Certification
  • Experience in Collaborating w/Product Owner in preparation for SAFe/agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, Inspect and Adapt, and Program Increment (PI) planning events.

Responsibilities

  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.
  • Collaborates with Product Owner in preparation for SAFe/agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, Inspect and Adapt, and Program Increment (PI) planning events.
