About The Position

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer, in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves performing a variety of engineering tasks related to system design, implementation, integration, and optimization within a technology domain or line of business. The Systems Engineer will utilize their expertise in systems and knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and/or storage to collaborate across departments, including architecture, application development, business analysts, DBAs, and infrastructure. The goal is to evaluate business needs and design and manage end-to-end technical solutions. Additionally, the role requires providing technical guidance to other technology resources concerning projects and areas of expertise. Remote work is permitted one day per week.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
3 years of experience with Cloud Computing
3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
3 years of experience with Serverless and Event-Driven Architecture
3 years of experience with Containerization and Orchestration
3 years of experience with Cloud Cost Optimization
3 years of experience with Scripting and Automation
