Systems Engineer, Kubernetes Platform (Prime)
About The Position
Intelliforce is hiring a Systems Engineer to build and sustain Kubernetes environments that host mission services across multiple platforms. Working alongside an established DevOps team, the engineer will work across systems engineering, platform operations, security compliance, and DevOps, helping ensure the platform is reliable, secure, compliant, and operational as it grows. The role includes hands-on ownership of Kubernetes infrastructure, network policies, system patching, SSP documentation, and compliance with established STE/STN security requirements. The engineer will troubleshoot Linux and Kubernetes issues, support infrastructure changes and operational validation, and collaborate with DevOps, systems engineering, security teams, and mission stakeholders. The role also uses tools across the DevOps ecosystem, including Terraform, Salt, Ansible, Rancher, Helm, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Jira, and Confluence. Requirements
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance with Full Scope Polygraph; the company cannot sponsor clearances.
- Must be a U.S. citizen; the company cannot sponsor visas.
- Experience supporting Linux-based systems and secure platform environments.
- Experience working collaboratively with DevOps, systems engineering, and security teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a mission-focused technical environment.
- Experience using the Linux command-line interface.
- Experience building Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Experience configuring Kubernetes network policies.
- Experience with system sustainment and compliance activities.
- Experience with system patching.

- Experience using the Atlassian tool suite, including Confluence and Jira.

Responsibilities
- Build and sustain Kubernetes infrastructure for program services.
