Systems Engineer

Sapsol Technologies•Melbourne, FL

About The Position

The Systems Engineer designs, develops, integrates, and validates GPS/GNSS-based navigation solutions for airborne systems. The role develops navigation algorithms using GNSS, INS, AHRS, IMU, air data, radio navigation sensors, and sensor-fusion techniques, and supports architecture development for integrated avionics and navigation systems. It includes requirements development and verification, navigation-performance analysis, and evaluation of system behavior in challenging RF environments, including jamming and spoofing. The engineer also plans and conducts system-level verification through laboratory, simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight-test activities; supports integration with related avionics systems; and contributes to safety analysis and certification activities. The position requires collaboration across engineering and flight-test teams, as well as participation in technical reviews and customer presentations.
