The Fleet Modernization Department is seeking an end-to-end systems engineer in Lexington Park, MD. The candidate will serve as the engineering interface to the sponsor for the Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO) Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) enterprise and will directly support the recapitalization and integration of the Navy’s strategic airborne NC3 capability focusing on requirements prioritization and risk reduction. The successful candidate will leverage deep systems engineering expertise to support end-to-end lifecycle activities (requirements analysis, architecture development, design, integration, test, and deployment) for both legacy and next-generation TACAMO/NC3 platforms. They will collaborate closely with the Nuclear Enterprise, the MITRE Nuclear Enterprise Mission Center, the Unites States Navy, DoW acquisition organizations, fleet squadrons, and mission stakeholders to understand NC3 operations, system-of-systems interactions, and new platform integration.
