About The Position

BAE Systems' Countermeasures & Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Systems Engineer in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions Product Line. This role involves supporting the development of new Electronic Attack (EA) capabilities designed to improve air vehicle survivability by detecting, denying, deceiving, degrading, and disrupting adversary Integrated Air Defenses. You will work under the guidance of a Lead Engineer to execute systems engineering tasks focused on RF performance modeling and RF system integration. The position utilizes digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles to develop and implement software for data analysis, post-processing, and visualization. A key aspect of the role involves external test events (up to 25% travel), where you will assist in planning, attending, and executing tests, interfacing directly with customers, and briefing analysis results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Electrical Engineering and a functional interest in using software engineering skills (Python/MATLAB) to solve complex RF and radar challenges. This position requires full-time, on-site work at a BAE Systems facility.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with Systems engineering development of DoD systems.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical depth in specific areas of Electronic Attack.
  • Functional interest in using software engineering skills (Python/MATLAB) to solve complex RF and radar challenges.
