About The Position

Netradyne harnesses the power of Computer Vision and Edge Computing to revolutionize the modern-day transportation ecosystem, leading in fleet safety solutions with significant year-over-year growth. The Systems Engineer provides advanced technical support, installation guidance, and hardware implementation expertise for complex, custom, and technically challenging vehicle safety system deployments. This role works cross-functionally to improve installation quality, field readiness, product usability, and customer and driver outcomes. This position applies deep technical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, telematics, cameras, sensors, monitors, and associated wiring and cabling to support deployments, resolve escalations, and develop scalable installation standards and best practices. The role also supports a data-driven operating model through technical analysis, remote troubleshooting, pattern recognition, and the continued improvement of tools, workflows, and knowledge resources that support safer and more effective implementation outcomes. Success in this role requires strong judgment, professionalism, ownership, accountability, leadership presence, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-moving situations. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling escalations, influencing outcomes without direct authority, and communicating findings, recommendations, and results clearly across multiple levels of the organization. This role is also expected to help elevate Field Engineering capabilities through stronger systems, visibility, consistency, and implementation support.

  • Experience supporting field implementation and providing technical guidance to internal or external stakeholders
  • Experience using data to support technical troubleshooting, process improvement, and operational decision-making
  • Ability to identify product limitations, installation risks, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate those clearly and professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments involving multiple departments, shifting priorities, and technical escalations
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical architecture, telematics integration environments, and common in-vehicle network and communication systems
  • Working knowledge of transportation industry applications and field implementation requirements
  • Typically requires 5–8 years of relevant experience in vehicle systems, field engineering, technical support, telematics, or a related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex technical issues and supporting new or non-standard deployments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in cross-functional and ambiguous environments through technical credibility, sound judgment, and professional influence
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively on critical issues and broader team objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong working knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, telematics environments, and technical troubleshooting practices relevant to field implementation
  • Ability to work with structured data, reporting tools, dashboards, and other practical resources used to support analysis, visibility, and decision-making
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and other business systems used to support field operations, reporting, and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or improving data tools, analytical systems, dashboards, reports, or structured workflows that enhance technical visibility, analysis, and execution is preferred
  • Experience contributing to knowledge base design, documentation architecture, and other systems used to organize, scale, and distribute technical knowledge across an organization is preferred
  • Technical certification or equivalent hands-on training and experience in vehicle systems, electronics, telematics, or installation practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for complex hardware installations, field implementations, and system coexistence scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot issues involving vehicle electrical systems, hardware, wiring, cabling, interoperability, and field performance, using structured analysis, pattern recognition, and remote troubleshooting methods where appropriate.
  • Analyze field and product performance data to identify trends, risks, and recurring patterns, and apply those insights to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Manage technical escalations in ambiguous or fast-moving situations with sound judgment, professionalism, and clear communication.
  • Work cross-functionally to translate field conditions, implementation risks, and recurring issues into actionable feedback, aligned next steps, and improved execution.
  • Identify, document, and improve installation methods, technical processes, field standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of tools, workflows, reporting resources, and knowledge systems that strengthen Field Engineering visibility, consistency, and implementation support.
  • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, risks, and results clearly to stakeholders and leadership at multiple levels of the organization.
