About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an engineer to support Yield Management System (YMS) applications. This position will work across the phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle and code deployment to ensure changepoints to these applications do not interrupt daily operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. In addition, this position will serve as the on-site expert for a set of YMS applications within the team when yield analysis, process improvement, maintenance, or advanced troubleshooting is needed. The Process & Equipment Visualization team is responsible for maintaining and upgrading first party Samsung systems that monitor, analyze, and improve wafer yield by correlating defect, test, and process data across the fab. These systems act as critical defense lines for fab quality by identifying yield excursions, enabling root cause analysis, and supporting continuous yield improvement efforts across process tools and modules. This team works closely with fab and Defect engineering teams to refine data visualization, accessibility, and advanced analytics capabilities.
