About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineers with expertise in DevOps to join our technology-based program supporting a key Government customer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering and automating our customer’s in support of this customer’s mission, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems within the virtual environment (Nutanix, VMs,) to optimize performance, scalability and automation.

Requirements

Minimum of 11 years' experience in systems design and engineering.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering.
11+ years' experience in systems design and engineering.
Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset.
GitHub experience and other source control systems.
Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements.
Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments.
Hands-on experience developing with Python.
Hands-on experience developing with Ansible.
Hands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi.
Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO.
Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud.
Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chet, Puppet, etc.
Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
