About The Position

Cimarron is seeking mid-level and senior-level Systems Engineers to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado. The role involves applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to develop, analyze, and manage system models and architecture across multiple programs. The engineer will leverage CAMEO to create and maintain SysML models supporting system requirements, design, and verification, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models accurately reflect technical and operational requirements. Support for technical reviews, stakeholder briefings, and system documentation efforts is also required.

Requirements

This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire
Active Secret Clearance
2 or more years of related experience
Experience applying MBSE on one or more programs
Experience with CAMEO
Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or technical lead for MBSE activities
Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline
5 or more years of related experience (for Senior-level Opening)

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency or other DoD programs
INCOSE Systems Engineering certification
Familiarity with digital engineering environments and tools
