About The Position

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is hiring a Systems Engineer at Level 2 or Level 3 to support the Sentinel program in Promontory, Utah. The role is responsible for technical execution, standards, and workflow processes for program and project support, and reports directly to the Systems Engineering Manager. The position supports systems engineering needs by capturing model-based digital architecture and requirements and incorporating compliance data from various sources into the systems engineering model for a defense program. The engineer coordinates with customers and program teams, manages customer requirements and their flow-down, develops verifiable performance and design requirements, and supports verification through analysis and testing. The role also integrates customer-directed changes, coordinates cross-functional subsystem teams, captures model architecture, and coordinates verification and compliance approaches for applicable military and industry standards. Additional work includes parts and materials management, specification and test-plan support, and developing and maintaining MBSE methods, standards, models, and data-exchange workflows. The role follows a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off, and involves an expected 5%–10% travel. Relocation assistance may be available. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
