About The Position

G2 Ops is hiring a Systems Engineer to support the Navy’s AEGIS Weapon System and associated combat system elements. The role focuses on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system architecture development, requirements and architecture configuration management, and engineering analysis for complex naval combat systems supporting U.S. Government and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) baselines. The position is based at the company’s Arlington, Virginia office and is described as in-office, with flexible scheduling based on program requirements. The work supports mission-critical defense and technology initiatives and involves collaboration with Government personnel, contractors, and multidisciplinary technical teams. The Systems Engineer develops, maintains, and evaluates system architectures and engineering models; applies MBSE methodologies to requirements, architecture relationships, functional behaviors, interfaces, and configurations; and performs systems engineering analyses, technical assessments, and trade studies. The role also supports configuration management of requirements, documentation, engineering baselines, interfaces, and architecture products throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. Additional work includes evaluating design changes and integration dependencies, identifying technical risks and operational impacts, and supporting research, development, integration, testing, evaluation, technical reviews, and verification of system requirements and capabilities. Applicants must have an active DoD Secret Clearance at the start of employment and be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance. The posting states a salary range of $100,000–$140,000, depending on qualifications and experience, and identifies the role as full-time. G2 Ops offers a collaborative culture, mission-focused work, opportunities for continuous learning and cross-training, and professional growth.
