  • Hands-on Linux command-line experience, a certification such as CompTIA Linux+ or Red Hat certification, and understanding of virtual machine architecture.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining DISA STIGs and supporting security compliance in DoD environments.
  • DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, required before the start date and must be maintained.
  • Ability to independently analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot complex systems, and implement engineering solutions with minimal oversight.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and mission stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 10% of the time.
