Requirements

  • Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience, 3 years with Masters, 1 year with PhD.
  • Sr Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 8 years of related experience, 6 years with Masters, 4 years with PhD.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading Systems Engineering events (e.g., PDR, CDR).
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Experience resolving issues and providing technical support.
  • Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments.
  • 2+ years’ experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS).
  • 3+ years’ experience with Systems Engineering (SE) principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Systems Engineering – Integration team within the Engineering homeroom – to include system integration, test plan and procedure development, test execution and reporting, as well as obsolescence analysis and solution development activities.
  • Perform technical planning, support design reviews, develop tools to communicate and track action items internally and with our customer.
  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.
  • Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature content both internally and externally.
