Requirements

2+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD space systems or ground systems
1+ years of experience performing the risk management process on space Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including ground, software, and hardware systems
1+ years of experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing space systems or ground systems program risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigating handling plans
Experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, or PCA
Experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
Ability to effectively communicate, work collaboratively on a cross-functional team and independently, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Experience with Satellite Communications Mission area
Experience with space acquisition
Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
Experience with Confluence or Jira
Experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP

Responsibilities

Assist the government as the lead systems engineer ensuring the space, ground, and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs.
