About The Position

U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer Sr (Multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA. The Systems Engineer Sr is responsible for creating and integrating solutions and services. This role will direct and recommend enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Specific duties include: (1) administer Databases on-premise and Cloud.; (2) evaluate product and service solutions; (3) design cloud Database infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS and Azure; (4) build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of Database infrastructure systems; (5) install and administer SQL and NoSQL Database clusters, as well as implementing policies and database controls using engineering nuances to mitigate loss of data for the organization; (6) automate the environment using tools including puppet, Ansible and building CICD Pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab; and (7) deploy and manage production and staging resources using Terraform, bash & Python scripts on the on-premise and Cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
• 2 years of experience administering Databases on-premise and Cloud.
• Designing cloud Database infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS and Azure
• Building and maintaining operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of Database infrastructure systems
• Installing and administering SQL and NoSQL Database clusters, as well as implementing policies and database controls using engineering nuances to mitigate loss of data for the organization
• Automating the environment using tools including puppet, Ansible and building CICD Pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
• Deploying and managing production and staging resources using Terraform, bash & Python scripts on the on-premise and Cloud platforms.
