As a System Engineer Sr. Staff on the Medusa program, you lead the definition, evolution and validation of the overall system architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in the overall system engineering lifecycle.
- Experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.
- Experience developing architecture of missile, defense, or aerospace systems.
- Experience working with government customers.
- Active or current Secret clearance; US citizenship required.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of AGILE process
- Proficiency with MBSE architecture tools
- Experience in trade-off analysis, performance modeling
- Experience troubleshooting system level integration and testing events
- Experience as a team or systems lead collaborating across engineering disciplines
Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Systems Engineer
- Translate program mission objectives and stakeholder needs into requirements
- Conduct trade studies and maintain traceability from requirements through architecture to verification
- Develop and document the system architecture
- Define the high-level functional, logical and physical architectures
- Facilitate design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and ensure compliance with standards
- Coordinate with test and validation teams to ensure architecture supports testability and maintainability
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems
- Communicate architectural rationale to leadership, customers and external stakeholders
