As a System Engineer Sr. Staff on the Medusa program, you lead the definition, evolution and validation of the overall system architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the overall system engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.
  • Experience developing architecture of missile, defense, or aerospace systems.
  • Experience working with government customers.
  • Active or current Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AGILE process
  • Proficiency with MBSE architecture tools
  • Experience in trade-off analysis, performance modeling
  • Experience troubleshooting system level integration and testing events
  • Experience as a team or systems lead collaborating across engineering disciplines

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief Systems Engineer
  • Translate program mission objectives and stakeholder needs into requirements
  • Conduct trade studies and maintain traceability from requirements through architecture to verification
  • Develop and document the system architecture
  • Define the high-level functional, logical and physical architectures
  • Facilitate design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and ensure compliance with standards
  • Coordinate with test and validation teams to ensure architecture supports testability and maintainability
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems
  • Communicate architectural rationale to leadership, customers and external stakeholders
