As a System Engineer Requirements and Verification lead on the Medusa program, you be responsible for driving the definition, management, and verification of system requirements across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in an engineering or related discipline.
  • Systems engineering experience within requirements, verification, and validation.
  • Experience with missile, defense, aerospace, or related systems.
  • Experience with DOORS or another requirements management tool.
  • Experience working with government customers.
  • Active or current Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AGILE process.
  • Experence with MBSE architecture tools.
  • Experience with system level integration and testing events.
  • Experience as a team or systems lead collaborating across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the system requirements are complete, traceable, testable and aligned with stakeholder needs
  • Coordinate requirements with the system architects
  • Coordinate verification planning, execution and reporting
  • Facilitate requirements reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and manage resulting action items
  • Development program specific requirement and verification plans
  • Work closely with system architects, subsystem leads, software/hardware engineers, and program managers to align technical solutions with program schedules
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems
  • Ensure all requirements and verification artifacts are correctly version‑controlled and stored in the Requirements Management tool
