About The Position

As a Systems Engineer for the Nuclear Weapons Security program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing advanced security and information systems, as well as helping to maintain deployed systems. This role involves applying systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards, along with requirements management and system modeling tools. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a team player, committed to professional development, and identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation. The work is research-oriented, developing practical solutions for national security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
  • Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
  • Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
