About The Position

We provide trusted, results-oriented expertise to the Intelligence Community, the Department of Defense, and other federal and commercial customers across the United States. Our team delivers innovative technical solutions that support mission-critical operations. CORE-CSI is seeking a talented Mid-Level Systems Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex systems environments and working across multiple organizations to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Clearance is required
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical or scientific field such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another STEM discipline.
• 6–8 years of industry experience in Systems engineering or related technical roles.
• Experience supporting Government or industry programs, including familiarity with one or more of the following: Requirements development processes
• Experience developing technical documentation such as: Requests for Change (RFCs), Change Requests (CORs), Other technical or engineering documentation.
• Experience participating in Configuration Management (CM) board processes.
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or cloud-based architectures
• Experience supporting the assessment, evaluation, and deployment of emerging technologies into operational environments, including analyzing architectural impacts and recommending implementation strategies.
• Experience performing segment-level systems engineering.
• Experience integrating multiple systems, services, and interfaces across organizational and agency boundaries.
• Experience capturing user and mission requirements and translating them into technical capability and system requirements.
• Ability to recommend courses of action in environments with evolving or fluid requirements.
• Acquisition processes
• Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
• AWS Certification
• Experience with Jira for issue and workflow tracking.
• Experience with Confluence for documentation and knowledge management.
• Experience working in a Help Desk or technical support environment.
