About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite position in Houston, TX. The role requires a Systems Engineer with expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining digital system models and integrating them into architecture and digital engineering platforms. This position is sensitive/safety-sensitive and subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, and requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.

Requirements

• Experience in systems engineering, including system architecture, requirements/interface development and allocation, verification and validation, integration and test, system trades, and risk management.
• Experience reviewing test plans and reports.
• Experience applying model-based approaches on engineering projects and integrating models into architecture and digital engineering platforms.
• Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and MBSE concepts.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.

• Experience with CAMEO modeling tool.

Responsibilities

• Maintain digital system models using SysML and other modeling languages such as CAMEO to represent complex systems.
• Apply model-based approaches on engineering projects.
• Integrate models into architecture and digital engineering platforms.
• Review test plans and reports.
• Perform systems engineering tasks including system architecture, requirements/interface development and allocation, verification and validation, integration and test, system trades, and risk management.
