About The Position

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join their rapidly growing team! This role requires an active TS/SCI Poly security clearance and involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The Systems Engineer will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. This role also involves communication with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. The responsibility includes ensuring the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

Requirements

  • Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • BS + 10 yrs experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Facilitating conversations with stakeholders
  • Executive level communications
  • Project decomposition in JIRA
  • Able to whiteboard processes/ideas effectively
  • Prior experience with system migrations

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Agency or DoD enterprise level information technology or systems
  • Prior experience with cloud computing architecture (AWS)
  • Prior experience with analyzing, configuring, installing, and integrating high performance computing systems

Responsibilities

  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.

  • Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
