About The Position
North Point Technology is looking to hire a Systems Engineer - IT with a DevOps background to support a High Performance Computing Multi-Level Secure enterprise program. This role focuses on initial deployment and ongoing site support for secure, large-scale infrastructure environments. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required to start.
Requirements
- Linux system administration and engineering in secure environments
- Scripting and software development using Python, Perl, Korn shell, Bourne/Bash, and Ansible
- Revision control systems including CVS, SVN, Git, and GitLab (including GitLab CI)
- Development and management of DevOps deployment automation processes
- Configuration management experience
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting HPC or multi-level secure enterprise environments
- Familiarity with SELinux hardening and security configurations
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and integration of secure enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites.
- Develop and maintain DevOps automation processes and configuration management solutions in Unix/Linux environments.
- Scripting workflows.
- Manage revision control systems.
- Coordinate initial site standup activities for complex HPC and multi-level secure deployments.
