About The Position

First Security Bank is seeking a professional, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Systems Engineer III! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing enterprise solutions such as modern Windows Server, RDS, Azure, the Microsoft 365 suite of solutions, applications and interoperability within a larger, heterogeneous production environment requiring 24/7 uptime. Advanced technologies include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy, Multi-Site Clusters, Private and Public Clouds, Windows Enterprise Desktop management, Microsoft 365 Suite. This position requires on-site work.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer required.
  • Senior-level proficiency with modern Windows Server, Entra, Active Directory, and associated technologies required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security controls and security compliance required.
  • Experience with deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting server hardware required.
  • Demonstrated experience with PowerShell and other languages (Perl, Python, Bash, etc.) required.
  • Commitment to demonstrating First Security's Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
  • Senior-level knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server platform.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Identity technologies, including Microsoft Entra and Active Directory.
  • Strong working knowledge of Modern Windows Management, including Azure Arc and Intune.
  • Microsoft Desktop Management - deployment and management in a distributed network.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business-critical systems.
  • Great communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, managers, third parties, and customers as needed.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
  • Ability to identify and instill industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgement skills.
  • Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance, and productivity.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and ability to identify priorities to accomplish a variety of tasks on schedule.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and the ability to work on-site with occasional extended hours when necessary.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and complete work projects accurately in a short amount of time, despite interruptions.
  • The employee must be able to interact with customers/coworkers in a calm and patient manner and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations.
  • The employee must be able to use basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers.
  • The position also requires the ability to read and interpret documents and draft routine written communications.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing and managing enterprise solutions such as modern Windows Server, RDS, Azure, the Microsoft 365 suite of solutions, applications and interoperability within a larger, heterogeneous production environment requiring 24/7 uptime.
  • Adhere to all department and company policies and procedures and follow applicable banking regulations.
  • Protect all customer information and bank operations through strict confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
