Identify systemic improvement opportunities and provide authoritative recommendations to enhance enterprise service delivery, resilience, and scalability. Ensure enterprise capabilities align with mission vision, scope, and operational priorities. Provide senior technical guidance for server configuration at Enterprise Service Centers (ESCs) and supported sites. Establish and enforce best practices for enterprise services, including email database sizing, mailbox quotas, backup requirements, and service performance optimization. Lead technology lifecycle planning efforts including upgrades, modernization initiatives, refresh strategies, and sustainment planning. Lead the planning and design of significant enterprise system changes and improvements supporting evolving mission requirements. Develop and approve design documentation, build guides, and implementation plans used for enterprise deployments. Ensure all technical solutions include comprehensive test plans, validation procedures, and acceptance criteria to verify operational objectives and capabilities. Provide authoritative updates and resolution strategies for technical issues that may impact enterprise rollout, continuity, or long-term sustainment. Lead the review and assessment of enterprise requirements and solution designs to integrate new capabilities into existing or planned environments. Evaluate opportunities to enhance automation, improve service efficiency, and increase aggregate enterprise capabilities. Ensure compatibility, stability, and operational readiness of integrated solutions across enterprise systems. Lead technical efforts to ensure enterprise service continuity and acceptable quality of service across all sites. Provide specialized support strategies for legacy or constrained environments, including sites impacted by high latency, low bandwidth, or large user populations. Guide migration and sustainment efforts to maintain reliable access to core enterprise services. Provide senior technical oversight and guidance for Microsoft-based enterprise services including: Microsoft Exchange Active Directory (AD) Domain-based Distributed File System (DFS) Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Ensure enterprise services leverage platform capabilities for performance, resiliency, security, and operational continuity. Serve as senior technical advisor to the Program Management Office (PMO), providing expert input on system risks, solutions, alternatives, and enterprise impacts. Collaborate with government leadership, operations teams, and technical staff to ensure enterprise systems meet mission needs. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers as required.
