About The Position

At SNC, we work on meaningful projects—from exploring space to supporting service members and building systems that keep the world connected. As a Systems Engineer, you will support projects by helping define requirements, integrate different parts of a system, and assist with testing activities (Verification & Validation). You will also use Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo to help design architectures and ICDs from the ground up, then organize and communicate said system designs. In this role, you will contribute to important project tasks such as system analysis, planning, and identifying risks. You will help guide key project decisions and support major deliverables using your understanding of system architecture, system design, and the overall system lifecycle. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment where priorities may shift quickly. This role also involves working in a software‑heavy environment, so the ability to collaborate with software teams and adapt to evolving technical needs is important. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills will help you work effectively with others, support team members, and ensure projects stay aligned with company goals. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.
