About The Position

This position is for a Systems Engineer I to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in the development and documentation of requirements and interfaces, as well as design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring system compliance through the documentation and execution of system verification processes. This position is a Full-Time, On-Site located in Indianapolis, Indiana in support of Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE &TC). Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
  • Experience in applying basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic support developing and documenting requirements and interfaces
  • Provide basic support developing, documenting, and executing system verification to show compliance
  • Integrate software and hardware subsystems
  • Follow a structured data driven approach to solve problems
  • Contribute to the completion of Project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads
  • Follow established SE processes and procedures
