Requirements

0+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date
Experience conducting Root Cause and Corrective Action RCCA) investigations or equivalent structured engineering problem solving approach in professional or educational setting
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

Preferred majors – Electrical or Computer Engineering
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
EW/Radar/EO-IR system experience
Experience with product testing and troubleshooting in the factory/depot or field environment
Experience working with and interpreting interfaces between hardware and software
Experience in working with software/firmware development and implementation

Responsibilities

Collaborate with program and factory personnel to track anomaly metrics, identify failure trends, perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to drive measurable yield improvement and accelerate throughput
Collaborate with hardware and software design team to develop a modular, cost-effective maintenance strategy for fielded products.
Support development of Built-In test (BIT) by developing requirements, driving hardware design feature selection, modeling failure modes and associated fault coverage, supporting software integration, and demonstrating effective capability
