About The Position

FORVIA - HELLA is seeking its next great Systems Engineer – Hardware to join our growing energy group. This individual will be joining a well established group that is focused on supporting our internal associates. FORVIA - HELLA is a listed, internationally positioned automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA. Within this factual group, HELLA stands for high-performance lighting technology and automotive electronics. At the same time, the Company covers a broad service and product portfolio for the spare parts and workshop business as well as for manufacturers of special-purpose vehicles with its Lifecycle Solutions business group. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years Hardware engineering experience or proficient in electronics
  • Knowledge of embedded hardware design and analogical and digital circuit development
  • Familiarity to automotive electronic product development process
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills

  • HIL knowhow is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Clarify and define internal and customer hardware requirements, facilitate discussion with customer for requirements alignment
  • Performing development tasks based on existing hardware specifications and architectures according to standards
  • Analyze, optimize, and improve existing hardware designs, including components assemblies, and related integration
  • Analyze, debug, and optimize hardware designs during development, supporting technical resolution discussions internally and with customers
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of PCBs and electronic modules (bench testing, probing, measurements) to identify root causes of failures and propose corrective actions
  • Use lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, power supplies) to diagnose faults
