About The Position
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of systems-engineering experience on hardware platforms (networks, data storage, workstations, communications, etc.)
- Experience working on both classified and unclassified projects across the full system life cycle
- Basic understanding of hardware design, integration, verification, and obsolescence
- Proficiency with SAP, and Jira
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and engineering trade-studies
- Ability to work under schedule pressure while maintaining security compliance
- Final Clearance for the Role: Secret

Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition and engineering standards
- Proficiency with SAP, and Jira
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation
