About The Position
Lockheed Martin is seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to join the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics & Resiliency (COOLR) team within the Satellite Engineering, Operations & Sustainment Support (SEOSS) program in Sunnyvale, California. This role will focus on supporting infrastructure, system installation, comprehensive team coordination, and Network Configuration/Hardware in controlled areas. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for hardware obsolescence tracking, maintaining network infrastructure (HW/SW), troubleshooting Windows Systems, supporting user profile creation, and assisting the Systems Engineering leadership team in planning and execution of work scope and Program execution. The role also involves leading and coordinating schedules with stakeholders, ensuring project completion on schedule, and supporting the integration and completion of engineering projects. Additionally, the engineer will support the coordination of COOLR System issues from an SEOSS perspective, technical meetings for standardizing processes, and ad hoc tasks assigned by Program Technical Leaders. Travel to remote sites may be required.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with IT Help Desk/Admin Tasks/troubleshooting (VDI, Flash Baseline, etc.)
- Familiar with basic Cisco CLI
- Familiar with Jira

- Project Management / Project Engineering experience
- Basic experience with Trouble shooting computer systems and/or applications
- Python, VBA, Perl, FORTRAN 77, PowerShell
- Extensive Troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

- Travel to remote sites as needed/when requested
- Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
- Support the coordination of COOLR System issues from a SEOSS Perspective.
- Support technical meetings standardizing processes across programs
- Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders
