About The Position

Systems Engineering work to include but not limited to leading requirements development, tracking, and verification testing of a system. A strong background in system integration and test is required for performing platform level Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing. A background in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) including Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and measurement, RF/Fiber optic cabling, antenna radome performance, system intra-operability, aircraft power systems, electromagnetic radiation hazard (EMRADHAZ), electrical wiring design and avionics hardware is desired. Oversee the electronmagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of developmental and deployable systems or payloads onto various flight test fighter platforms. EMC design of flight test modification test procedures are required to ensure proper implementation. This role requires domestic travel.

Requirements

• STEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics
• System integration testing experience
• Demonstrated experience using standard office software tools/solutions. e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project).

• Background in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) including Radio Frequency (RF) systems, RF COSITE analysis, antenna systems and measurement, RF/Fiber optic cabling, antenna radome performance, system intra-operability, aircraft power systems, electromagnetic radiation hazard (EMRADHAZ), electrical wiring design and avionics hardware.
• Experience/Knowledge in electrical circuit analysis, electromagnetic interference (EMI)
• Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic wave theory (Maxwell's Laws)
• Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electrical grounding concepts for circuits designs and antennas.
• Familiar/Experience with standard test equipment, i.e. Spectrum Analyzer, volt/ohm meter, oscilloscope, Network Analyzer.
• Basic understanding of RF propagation and principles is desired.

Responsibilities
