About Triton Technical Triton Technical designs and delivers advanced IT and AV systems for the world's most sophisticated private yachts. The Role The Systems Engineer Associate supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure under the guidance of senior engineers. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from client or technical support into systems engineering. You'll work across server environments, virtualization, Microsoft 365, and identity management while building the technical depth required to independently manage systems over time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support, client support, or technical operations
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or server environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow technical standards and learn quickly
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to virtualization platforms or Microsoft certifications is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines and storage systems
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and application server environments
  • Perform system monitoring and basic server administration tasks
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration including user provisioning and access management
  • Troubleshoot Tier 2 system, application, and infrastructure issues
  • Participate in system upgrades, maintenance windows, and operational support
  • Maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, inventories, and procedures
  • Support development and adherence to system standards and best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotation after onboarding
