About the position
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking Systems Engineers at various experience levels to provide full life-cycle systems and software engineering. The role involves ensuring uptime, performance, resources, and computer security, as well as aligning systems with user requirements and enterprise IT policies. The position requires a security clearance and will be based in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia Area. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in information security or a related discipline, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in various tools and technologies such as Office 365 ProPlus, PowerShell, Azure, and Linux.
Responsibilities
- Ensure uptime, performance, resources, computer security, and server security
- Ensure systems meet user requirements and align with enterprise IT policies and best practices
- Manage and maintain configuration and operation of computer systems and servers
- Provide routine automation, maintain security policies, and troubleshoot
- Automate system and application configurations
- Integrate and test environments
- Derive and analyze requirements
- Have knowledge of hardware and software
- Create and analyze metrics
- Have working experience with Office 365 ProPlus, PowersShell, Azure, Active Directory, vSphere, Linux, RHEL, and Unix
- Have well-versed knowledge of infrastructure tools including DNS, DNCP, VDI, SQL Server, II
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in systems or software engineering
- Experience in full life cycle engineering, including requirements derivation, analysis, hardware and software knowledge, metrics creation and analysis, and systems architecture
- Experience with integration and test environments
- Experience managing and maintaining configuration and operation of computer systems and servers
- Working experience providing routine automation, maintaining security policies, and troubleshooting
- Experience with automating system and application configurations
- Experience using tools and technologies such as Office 365 ProPlus, PowerShell, Azure, Active Directory, vSphere, Linux, RHEL, and Unix
- Well-versed knowledge of infrastructure tools including DNS, DNCP, VDI, SQL Server, II
- Active security clearance required, with a minimum of Secret clearance and potential for TS/SCI level clearance
