About The Position

Leads ground and system level verification, validation, integration, and test for space-based systems. Leads planning, organization, and implementation of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity, and technology readiness assessments. Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, and develop system and subsystem requirements. Develops and executes test plans, test procedures, and verification reports for system validation. Resolves cross-functional technical issues across system integration and architecture. Evaluates customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and integrate technical parameters. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance. Writes requirements and interface control documents (ICDs) for ground systems and supports ConOps development. Develops ground segment operational products in support of space-based systems. Supports complex system level threads required to run missions in space using scaled agile development processes and model-based systems engineering.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required to start.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
  • Typically, 14 or more years of related work experience.
  • Experience leading verification, validation, integration, and test for ground and system level activities.
  • Experience with space systems and working with multi-discipline teams.
  • Experience with Ops Product architecture, design, development, and test.
  • Experience with software requirements verification testing.
  • Experience with scripting languages including Python, Tcl, and Tk.
  • Experience with Configuration Management tools and processes and Scaled Agile Framework processes and tools.
