About The Position

Ultra Mission Solutions is looking for Systems and Electrical Engineers to design the next generation of rugged mission-compute solutions, with a particular emphasis on the 3U-VPX space. This is a hands-on engineering role spanning the full development lifecycle from concept and electrical design through mechanical packaging, system assembly, integration, and qualification test. In this role, you will contribute to the design, integration, and test of rugged and edge-compute systems, working across electrical design, mechanical packaging, system assembly, and integration and test. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to bring certifiable compute platforms from concept through qualification, and you will support design reviews, hardware bring-up, and verification and validation activities. We are looking for the right team members, not a perfect fit. If you are curious, innovative, and scrappy, we are willing to train the right candidates and help you grow into areas beyond your current experience.
