About The Position

I2X Technologies is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Broomfield, CO. This position will be on-site 5 days per week and will require an active TS/SCI. The role involves providing electrical systems engineering support to technical teams for the definition, direct implementation, and operation of complex electrical systems, including spacecraft (Bus and Payloads), instruments, and ground systems. The engineer will oversee and guide the management of electrical requirements, support assembly, integration, test, and verification activities, and assist with the development and flow down of electrical subsystem, box, and board level requirements. Responsibilities also include developing and refining electrical interface control documents, power budget analysis, harnessing design, grounding diagrams, EMI/EMC compliance, and compliance analysis. The position requires collaborative work across engineering teams to develop and refine electrical architectures, prepare and give presentations, and provide subject matter expertise for risk and opportunity assessments. The engineer will also orchestrate and enable team tasks, resolve blockers, and work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment. Collaboration with mechanical, thermal, EMI/EMC, and Systems teams is expected to ensure requirement compliance. Understanding of system engineering tools/methodologies (MBSE, Cameo) and detailed board design for review authority is also required.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of system engineering tools/methodologies; specifically, MBSE and Cameo
