About The Position

Pyrotek is seeking a Systems Assembler to assemble, troubleshoot, and test industrial pumps and degassing equipment used in demanding manufacturing environments. This role involves working closely with Engineering and Production teams to transform components into high-performance systems while upholding high standards of quality and safety. The assembler will interpret engineering drawings, perform equipment setup and adjustments, conduct inspections, and utilize various tools and equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and precision measuring devices.
Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

Assemble and repair industrial pumps, degassing equipment, and mechanical systems from blueprints, sketches, and work instructions.
Interpret engineering drawings to accurately build assemblies to specification.
Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and mechanical fitting to meet design tolerances.
Conduct first-piece inspections and functional testing to verify product quality.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, hoists, tow motors, and precision measuring equipment.
Troubleshoot assembly and manufacturing issues in collaboration with Engineering.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training team members on assembly processes.
Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused manufacturing environment.
