What impact you’ll make As a student withing the Systems Architecture team, you will be an active contributor to the application of Generative AI in product management, the execution of automation solutions and other services productivity initiatives.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work on-site as required by the business; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • A passion for exploring technological advancements and energy industry innovations.
  • A proactive mindset toward process improvement and power generation industry problem solving.
  • Experience with data analysis or tools related to power generation field such as Gas Turbines.
  • An interest in bridging the gap between digital technology development and on-site power plant services.
  • Knowledge in Mechanical and Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Science is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing AI-driven tools to improve and augment key business functions in engineering and product management.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Services, manufacturing and digital technology, to integrate new methodologies.
  • Support the training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization.
  • Assist the engineering team in subcomponent selection, hardware research, and lab-based prototype demonstrations to validate automation initiatives.
  • Drive collection of visual data from site visits.
  • Help bridge the gap between development and field operations by assisting in the creation of training materials, and documentation required for handover to the services teams.
  • Work with the services team to drive productivity initiatives for planned inspections and upgrades.

Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
