Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Solid understanding of complex application environments and integration challenges.
  • Hands‑on experience in IT solution design, ideally in an Agile/Scrum context.
  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry, including pricing and new business (strong asset).
  • Comfortable working with various technologies and platforms, including: Azure DevOps, .NET 8, Git, SQL Server, MongoDB, BizTalk, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participating in the analysis of business and technical requirements in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
  • Designing and producing functional and/or technical solution designs (flows, business rules, integrations, application components).
  • Ensuring solution alignment with target architecture, IT standards, and organizational best practices.
  • Working closely with architects, development teams, and quality assurance (QA) teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Supporting teams during solution implementation and contributing to effort estimates and planning activities.
  • Supporting testing phases, analyzing defects, and contributing to their resolution.
  • Maintaining clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date design documentation.
  • Acting as a subject‑matter expert during production releases and supporting production support activities.
  • Mentoring team members and fostering knowledge sharing within the IT community.
