Systems Architect
About The Position
FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Systems Architect to support enterprise-wide infrastructure modernization, cloud strategy initiatives, and long-term technology transformation projects. This role is ideal for a senior technology professional with strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, systems design, and technical leadership. The selected candidate will work closely with infrastructure, development, security, and business teams to design scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise solutions. The Systems Architect will play a key role in defining future-state architecture, supporting cloud migration initiatives, improving disaster recovery strategies, and guiding technical teams through complex enterprise projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture and enterprise systems design
- 7+ years of senior-level technical leadership experience
- 7+ years leading technical teams in business-critical enterprise environments
- Strong experience with Cloud Infrastructure Architecture
- Strong experience with Enterprise Systems Design
- Strong experience with Infrastructure Modernization
- Strong experience with Cloud Migration Strategy
- Strong experience with Disaster Recovery Planning
- Strong experience with Enterprise Technology Roadmaps
- Experience working across multiple technical domains and enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security, scalability, and reliability principles
- Experience performing architecture reviews and gap analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise technology initiatives across infrastructure and application teams
- Design and document enterprise infrastructure and solution architectures
- Develop technical roadmaps, project plans, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Review and improve existing enterprise systems, .NET environments, and COTS applications
- Conduct architecture assessments, gap analysis, and future-state solution planning
- Create technical documentation for cloud migration and modernization efforts
- Review disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and support teams
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, development, and business stakeholders
- Prepare leadership reports, status updates, and technical presentations
- Support enterprise operational and architectural activities as needed
