About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Systems Architect to design and oversee complex IT systems and infrastructure. This role is responsible for defining system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, and aligning technical solutions with business goals. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience delivering enterprise-level solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
8–12+ years of experience in IT systems, architecture, or engineering roles
Strong knowledge of system design, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Proficiency in infrastructure, networking, and application architecture
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Architect
Experience in microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects

Responsibilities

Design and define end-to-end system architecture for applications and infrastructure
Develop architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business teams to align solutions with requirements
Evaluate and select technologies, tools, and platforms
Oversee system integration and interoperability across platforms
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Review technical designs and provide guidance to development teams
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards
Lead architecture documentation and long-term system planning
