The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a Systems Architect to support our Maryland Customer for cross domain solutions. This role applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The Systems Architect will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. They will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives, holding responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288. This includes Technical Process Areas (Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal), Project Process Areas (Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement), Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Areas (Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management), and Agreement Process Areas (Acquisition and Supply). The role also involves assisting in developing new or innovative approaches to technical or engineering issues, conducting evaluations for project suitability, and supervising or coordinating the work of other contractor engineers or technicians. The Systems Architect will analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications, guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. They will provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations, and develop technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation. The role also guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. The Systems Architect will have ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
