We’re looking for a Systems and Operations Manager to join our ever evolving Systems Administration team and help shape the future of global commerce. The primary responsibility of this role is to directly oversee, manage and develop the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions and capability to support the operations, delivery, security and compliance needs of all environments and services offered. Working closely with stakeholders from Client Support, Product Development and shared service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
• Typically a minimum of 8 years related professional experience including a minimum of 3 years experience in a technology management position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the team’s business-as-usual workload to ensure high quality and efficient execution that maintains stability and security.
• Act as key point-of-contact for the planning and delivery of client requirements.
• Use strong technical acumen to obtain a solid understanding of the full tech stack and apply this as a key contributor to problem-solving, troubleshooting and planning.
• Act as an escalation point for Technical Incidents or Issues with the capability to be the Incident commander in situation where customer impact must be mitigated without delay.
• Oversee the Production of timely, high-quality Technical Incident Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) ensuring the team deliver on resulting actions within the scope of their responsibilities.
• Work with Enterprise shared service teams to integrate to best practice Service Management capabilities all teams supporting the business can leverage.
• Interpret and plan adoption of Technology and Security standards as those are published and evolved.
• Effectively manage risk to environments and services through the development and execution of thoughtful and permanent remediation plans.
• Introduce new standards-based tooling, process and practices for the delivery and management of Infrastructure and software deployment, participating in broader Enterprise-wide initiatives as required.
• Lead delivery of larger projects that pertain to the environments and services within the scope of the teams' responsibilities.
• Mentor, coach and develop own direct team members to foster a culture of customer service, high performance and results.
• Direct the priorities for and oversee the execution of activities assigned to offshore and contract resources.
