About The Position

The Systems Analyst supports enterprise technology platforms and initiatives for Legal Strategy & Shared Services in a regulated environment. The role provides clear requirements, solution analysis, planning, and coordinated delivery across complex initiatives, partnering with Legal stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and delivery partners. It supports scalable, sustainable Legal technology platforms while helping ensure solutions are well-defined, documented, and compliant.

Requirements

Senior-level experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology platforms in regulated environments.
Proven ownership of requirements definition, solution analysis, and delivery coordination across complex initiatives.
Experience partnering closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance, or Corporate Services organizations.
Strong understanding of system development lifecycles, from planning and analysis through implementation and release.
Experience coordinating delivery activities such as dependency management, milestone planning, and release readiness.
Working knowledge of data privacy, records retention, security, and compliance requirements applicable to Legal systems.
Experience supporting vendor-hosted or SaaS solutions and system integrations.
Ability to lead planning and coordination activities, including scope definition, sequencing of work, dependency identification, and risk management.
Strong execution and delivery management skills, including tracking progress, managing issues, and supporting on-time delivery.
Ability to translate Legal and operational needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Advanced analytical skills to assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend solution improvements.
Ability to work with modern technology concepts such as APIs, integrations, cloud-based platforms, and data flows.
Strong communication and facilitation skills to align legal stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and delivery partners.
Ability to balance multiple initiatives and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining clarity and predictability.

Responsibilities

Enable Legal Strategy & Shared Services to plan and execute technology initiatives through clear requirements and coordinated delivery.
Coordinate delivery planning, including scope definition, sequencing of work, dependency identification, milestone planning, and release readiness.
Track progress, manage issues and risks, and support timely delivery of commitments.
Translate Legal and operational needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend solution improvements.
Coordinate across Legal stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and delivery partners.
Support solutions that meet applicable privacy, records retention, security, and compliance requirements.
Support vendor-hosted or SaaS solutions and system integrations.
Improve delivery predictability and outcomes by proactively managing dependencies, risks, and execution details.
Strengthen collaboration and continuity across Legal technology initiatives.
