About The Position

Genius Road, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications for complex financial business processes. The role calls for technical expertise in SQL databases, application development, and systems analysis, as well as experience leading development initiatives, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

This is a 12-month contract position based onsite in Tallahassee, Florida, five days per week. The position does not accept C2C arrangements or third-party vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of experience as a lead developer or development manager.
• At least 5 years of experience with development technologies, including Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL development, and software applications supporting complex financial business processes.
• Strong systems analysis and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET technologies, and ORM frameworks, including Entity Framework and NHibernate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise applications supporting complex financial business processes.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle, including adherence to coding standards, quality assurance, and deployment best practices.
• Analyze business requirements, troubleshoot complex application issues, and develop technical solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, quality assurance teams, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery and integration.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to application design, technology roadmaps, process standardization, and development methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, maintain documentation, and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to enhance software solutions.
