About The Position

The Systems Analyst (Advanced) will facilitate complex, enterprise-level software development efforts in large-scale financial application environments. The role combines developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert responsibilities, including analysis of critical financial processes, continuous improvement, and delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. This is an onsite, long-term contract in Tallahassee, Florida, through 2027.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a Lead Developer or Development Manager.
• At least 5 years of broad experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational database systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET; .NET Core and C# are preferred.
• Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework or n-Hibernate.
• Strong SQL proficiency and knowledge of database architecture concepts.
• Proven background developing and maintaining software systems involving complex financial processes.
• Clear verbal and written communication across cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance ideologies, tools, and control techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with .NET Core and C#.

Responsibilities

• Drive application development, maintenance, and technical architecture for complex financial business systems.
• Evaluate current business functions, identify efficiency opportunities, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide quality assurance guidance and code-review oversight across integration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools and collaborative problem-solving.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, developers, and architects to establish software guidelines, roadmaps, and process documentation.
