Systems Analyst
About The Position
The System Administrator is responsible for the integration and development of IT systems, ERP, and related business applications, including administration, maintenance, and technical support within manufacturing, engineering, program management, estimating, purchasing, finance, quality, and production. Working within the IT team, responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise. Reporting as the in-house ERP specialist and able to assist with usage and development projects. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, company and health & safety policies and ISO/IATF quality program and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a technical field – enterprise application, development, programming - or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a support capacity
- One or more years of experience supporting commercial ERP systems
- Understand technical terms and concepts related to applications (servers, database, user interface etc.)
- Collaborate with team members to obtain an understanding of issues and develop best practices
- Collect and organize problems and solutions information in the knowledge base
- Ability to understand complex data models and processes
- As key systems are SQL based DBA skills are essential
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
- Time management skills with exceptional multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
Nice To Haves
- Automotive manufacturing industry experience in a technical role strongly preferred
- Warehouse/labelling experience preferred
