The Systems Analyst role is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Information Systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology. The analyst must have expertise in relational database design, SQL programming, database management systems, and scripting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data visualization, and queries, is essential. The position involves developing, updating, and managing reporting solutions for district, state, and federal requirements, designing and generating complex reports, and implementing integrations between various data systems. The analyst will manage projects independently, serve as a liaison between business units and technology teams, and train end-users. Key responsibilities include writing scripts for data processing and automation, documenting processes, ensuring data quality and security, troubleshooting data inaccuracies, and developing/maintaining databases. The role also involves supporting applications, investigating system issues, assisting in software evaluations, and refining business rules for information systems. The analyst must be adaptable, able to manage interruptions and competing priorities, and maintain positive professional relationships while adhering to district policies and state statutes. Occasional lifting of at least 20 pounds and prolonged standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, reaching, bending, and squatting may be required.
